Like Bar Spreaders, Guiders are designed particularly for horses who are narrow through the chest and provide an alternative to Bar Spreaders. They assist in keeping the legs wider while racing so that the horse does not knock its knees or otherwise interfere with keeping a straight stride.

The EXTRA THICK foam covered loops are placed around the front legs and sit at the top in the elbow. They are fastened to the shafts of the sulky, thus providing support to the leg.

These spreaders are supplied complete with straps, however Replacement Straps are also available for separate purchase.
