The titanium hood has made such a difference for our 5 year old recently back Welsh pony out hacking. Before, just leading him to the field for turn out he'd look at any inanimate object and think it could kill him! Took him for his first ever hack and he didn't look at anything, just ears forward enjoying a stroll along the track. We passed a tethered horse, geese, and chicken on the track and he didn't really even look at them! Even saw his first moving car on the way back to the yard too, just happily stood still watching it go past. Couldn't be more happy with how he went and had one very happy daughter. Hopefully we get the same results when he rides round the fields and goes SJ too.

I'm so happy with my titanim hood. I purchased one with ears because my horse suffers really bad anxiety. He is petrified of farm machinery to the point he was dangerous to ride. I used to use titanium hoods when I raced the standardbreds so thought I would again try. The difference is incredible. He is so calm in situations that would normally end terribly, he can hack out alone and in company with no issues, he travels almost perfect and he is competing so well and to a level I never thought I would get too. Before the hood, competitions were just stressful for us both. I cannot recommend enough for horses that are nervous/anxious and just need some extra security.

I started to use Zilco titanium hoods when I heard that they could settle horses that maybe could not concentrate or were nervous so I thought I would give it a try. I bought and tried one initially on a six-year-old mare who suffers from PSSM1 and can sometimes spook at things due to the muscular condition plus also suffers from ulcers which also leads to tricky behaviour at times whilst we manage her. We tried the hood on her and she was instantly settled and became a different Pony out hacking. So chuffed with the results I purchased another to use on my veteran coloured mare who has seasonal asthma and can headshake during the summer. I also use her for endurance riding so over 40 km it can be quite annoying to have her wrenching your arms out the sockets as she headshakes. I also bought another and used it on my traditional mare who can sometimes get a little bit anxious and has a tendency to go rather faster than we need even when endurance riding. She also tends to jog a bit when she’s out hacking alone. Tried on her and she is a different Pony now. I now use the Zilco titanium Hoods As a para rider for Endurance GB on both my Ponies. One is a para Pony and the other a para rider escort. It is so important that they are non-spooky and well-behaved, focused and concentrating.
